It's often difficult to look at oneself with a fresh perspective. This book was written by two British authors who have taken on the task of speaking for the rest of the world and its view of America. As a US citizen, I was astonished by the spread of American culture around the world. It's a hegemonic process that invites criticism and concern from others, and these concerns seem valid, if not worthy to be heard. Well-researched and persuasive book.
