Pub. 1989. Wiggie is a l-a-r-g-e housecat with an imagination to fit. In this book he decides he is the descendant of the American pioneers and decides to prove it. His human family make a long trek to move to Moscow, and Wiggie thinks its Russia but actually its Idaho. This wondrous cat takes over and runs everything with hilarious results much to the discomfit of his humans and fellow pets. Suitable for readers from older elementary to adult.
