I enjoyed this series by Rhys Bowen so much that I was sorry when it "ended" in 2017. However, it is now being written with her daughter. Fantastic Fiction doesn't list Rhys Bowen's age, but Wikipedia does. She is now 80 years old. I forget how I discovered the series had another book written earlier this year, and Fantastic Fiction lists another on the way next year.

While the story was interesting, and although Rhys is listed as the senior author, I suspect her daughter is doing most of the writing. It just didn't have the same finesse as the previous books in this series and the other series she did so well. In fact, some of the plot seemed heavy-handed and the characters---usually Molly---often repeated themselves.

Still, it was nice to connect with the characters again. In this book, Molly instincts aren't quite as sharp as they were in previous novels, but then that's part of the plot. Sorry, but although a large number of members---31 as of today---have this book on their WL, I'm going to have to return my copy to the county library.
