Starts with a botch up in the sale of a heart. The heart disappears along with the money - This was blamed on an innocent doctor and the doctor cut off his hand to escape. Then bodies are found where the victim has been mercilessly tortured before being killed. Good book.

Awesome book, couldn't put it down!! I really enjoyed this scary mystery. It got rave reviews. I didn't figure out the ending until the end, which is unusual for me. People magazine: "A more potent rush than anything brewed by Starbucks. Consider yourself warned...expect the unexpected throught the heart-stopping finale". This is one book you don't want to miss!

I had to knock off a star because I guessed the identity of the killer far in advance of it being revealed as even a possibility. That being said, this was a quite entertaining murder mystery thriller that was well worth reading. I enjoyed reading it, and while I wouldn't be likely to read it again, I would recommend it to others.
