A man came to Va. to help a lady with her coal mines and he didn't know who is father was but his mother had died when he was only 8 and he worked in the coal mines from the time he was 8 years old and then this man took him in and educated him and raised him up like a son so when he sent him to Va. it was to help the lady with her coal mine or buy the coal mine. The lady ended up married to him and then the man that raised him died and he had to go back to England.
