"It was the kind of day for cooking moose muzzle," she mused, and plucked the thick hair from the animal's severed snout.

Brad and Vena Angier forsook civilization soon after they were married and went off to live the life of Thoreau in the wilderness of British Columbia. Then, feeling guilty that he'd talked his wife into leaving so many big city "comforts" when they'd first moved to the wilderness, Brad asked Vena to try city life again. But they knew where they belonged; they took to the woods again and are back in the world where nature provides the necessities and life is what it should be.
The best kind of true adventure story.

My copy is a hardback although the ISBN generates book type as 'Other.' Written by Bradford and Vena Angier.

He had been a Boston magazine editor. She had been a ballerina. And then they turned their backs on the city to live their dreams in the wilderness. A true story.
