Pretty good book. Similar to the movie. There are some additional backgrounds parts in the book including more info about Sorsha and backgrounds on Madmartigan and others. The magic parts of the book seem to make more sense than the movie, they are not rushed and seem to take more strength of character than shown in the movie. In short, if you enjoyed the movie, you should enjoy the book.

An evil sorceress, a baby foretold to be the saving of her people, a rogue who is also an expert swordsman, and a want-to-be magician who finds a mission in the saving of this baby, and through her all people.

A good fantasy yarn, from the movie "Willow." Light, but enjoyable.
