In this 2nd book in the Embla Nystrom series, Embla must solve a mystery case and find two missing children. When a little girl disappears suspicion falls on the last person she was seen with but the autistic boy is hardly speaking. When a second child disappears and a police officer is found dead, tensions mount. Could the incident be linked to Embla's childhood best friend who disappeared years ago? This novel is very suspenseful with secrets being kept. It is a strong plot with intriguing characters. I am looking forward to book 3 of the series. If you like police procedurals, then you will love to read this book.
