Hi! I thought the whole idea behind the "automatice green "W" for wish listed books was to *automatically*send it to that first request, AUTOMATICALLY!!! Cheers!

IF the person who has it on auto has no credits, it goes through the normal Wishlist process, I believe. |

Oh that's right. Thanks Cozette! Still seems if you're going to use the automatic, use it. If the credits aren't there, sorry it should go to the next perosn. Cheers! |

If the person who had it on automatic request is out of credits when your book was posted, the auto-request was automatically converted to a regular Wish List offer so that the person will have 48 hours to purchase a credit and respond. In a normal auto- request situation, as soon as you post the book and the one hour hold is off, the request will come to you without the requester even getting an email and they do not get any 48 hour decision time. |

Thanks! But that's strange and not the way it's working. They're all getting 4h hours on each end.*sigh* Thanks again! |

Are you sure the person with the autoreqeust didn't cancel it right away? I've had that happen to me before. Sometimes people forget to delete WL books that they have already gotten. I found 4 on my WL the other day that I had already gotten from PBS. It never asked me to delete other versions and I forgot to check myself. I'm not sure what you mean by 48hrs on each end. When a WL book is posted the wisher gets 48hrs to accept the book. When the book is accepted the requestor then gets 5 days to say they can mail the book out. They do this incase the book has gotten damaged or lost or something has come up and the sender can no longer mail the book out. Also sometimes people have to wait until payday is closer or their once a week mail day is close so they may let a request sit for a few days. |
