I noticed that there were several books on other peoples wish lists that I have in my bookshelf, the difference is they have them on their list for paperback and mine are hardcover.    I personally don't have a preference but I know that some people do.  Is there anyway around that or do I need to check my own wish list periodically to see if the book is available either way?

There is an option for people to get alerts when similar versions of a book they have WLed but not everyone takes advantage of that option for whatever reason. There is a monthly thread in the book bazaar forum for WL books with different ISBNs you can go there and post what you have.

You can also Wish List your books individually  with all  versions available.

I don't always seem to get the option for other versions.  Posting in that thread mentioned above in the Book Bazaar seems to work well, depending if the wishers check the forums, lol.  It's a monthly thread, started again the beginning of each month to keep it current.  Often books posted in the BB  in that thread are snapped right up.
