I was expected a stereotypical book about a woman's life (Like the comicstrip Cathy). Maitena has some of that, mostly with a real world twist.
Each page has some kind of statement at the top "Some of the most common prejudices concerning women" "Six typically feminine things" and six panels with funny, silly, mundane, or scary things about it. Not all the stories resonated with me, but I still am glad I read this and want to read the next volume to see if it gets even better.
