I really liked the book, it has much to do with a young boy coming of age, and growing up and entering high school, when a family tragedy ends up changing every aspect of his life. Great coming of age book and all that can be expected with it. Based in the late 1970's a teen has to find his way and distinguish reality from fiction.

Beautifully written, moody, coming-of-age story.

A sensitive and thoughtful approach to teen-aged sexuality and the confusions it brings with it. The "hero" is conflicted and looks to others for answers. Unfortunately, the answers are not adequate or helpful.
