Yo, Naomi Leon (Becoming Naomi Leon) is an excellent book about overcoming life situations and learning that just being yourself gives you the strength to meet any challenge life throws you. Of course it's written for children, but it contains a wealth of wisdom and insights for people of all ages. I read this book to a third grade class once, and the the boys liked it as much as the girls did. This is one of my favorite books!
