Middle of the trilogy Ross has written, based on notes from Bradley: Darkover during the 100 Kingdoms
I will be a Bradley fan for as many years as her name is published.
I enjoy the Darkover setting. This time around, I liked reading about Varzil Ridenow and Carolin Hastur. The ending wasn't very satisfactory for me. Ah, well. There is a third book in this series, maybe it is just the result of being something of a sequel. Events in this book take place a generation after the events of the last book.
