Zombie Notes Author:Laurie Rozakis What we'll discover in these pages is that there really IS something rotten in the state of Denmark in Shakespeare's "Hamlet". The Ghost has come back to warn Hamlet that Claudius and Gertrude are vampires and they want to make him one of the undead. Hamlet muses, 'To be or not to be a vampire, that is the question:Whether 'tis nobler in the min... more »d to suffer; The slings and arrows of excruciating bloodsucking; Or, to take arms against a sea of the undead, and by opposing end them?' In "Huckleberry Finn", vampires and zombies attack the sleepy town of Hannibal (or is it Cannibal?), Missouri. Huck and Jim flee down the Ole Mississippi to escape and raise an army, but when they arrive at Aunt Polly's, they discover the monsters have preceded them. They battle the creatures, aided by the redoubtable Tom Sawyer and his ridiculous schemes from romantic literature. And in "A Tale of Two Cities", France is suddenly populated by zombies, while England is not. These are just a few of the storylines Professor Rozakis will butcher, bastardize, and bloody - all for our reading pleasure.« less
