Product Review: When Suze Orman was 13 she watched her father dive into the flames of his burning take-out chicken shack in order to rescue his cash register. In that moment Orman learned that money was more important than life itself. And so it became her quest to be rich. But years later, when Orman became a wealthy broker with a huge investment firm, she was profoundly unhappy. What went wrong? She had not yet achieved financial freedom. In her nine-step program, Orman covers the ingredients to financial success--confronting our beliefs and fears, learning the nuts and bolts (and insiders secrets!) of savvy management, and finding the spiritual trust that leads to abundance.
I found this book very helpful in managing my finances and learning what interfered when I was younger.

Product Review: Take a visual journey through California! The extraordinary photographs showcased in California 24/7 are an extension of the America 24/7 project, an unprecedented digital photography venture that harnessed the talents of more than 25,000 local photographers in all 50 states. This remarkable book showcases 734 incredible images adding up to a panoramic view of life-in-progress across the Golden State. You ll discover heartwarming photographs that perfectly capture the spirit of the state, with images of: Dawn-patrol surfers boogieing on a clean south swell A San Jose girl in a princess dress getting ready for her quinceanera A single man in Claremont tending to his 4 adopted children Modoc County ranch hands chowing down at lunchtime An interactive gaming professional throwing a convention in L.A. And more! From the badlands of Zabriskie Point to the snowy heights of Mt. Shasta, from a Visalia square dance to a levitating Corvette on Venture Boulevard, California is a great big bazaar where American finds its future. The visions collected in this album show us West Coast grandeur and reveal the human intimacies inside, where the heart is.
I love this book and the pictures are amazing!

Marianne Williamson on Transformation: Growth Is Messy, the Real You
Review Date: 7/22/2011

Publisher Review: One of the primary problems is that we've forgotten who we really are. We think we are defined by our accomplishments, our mistakes, our addictions, and our limitations. But we are much more than our outward appearances. Marianne tells us, and we must change our perceptions of ourselves - and others - in order to achieve the inner peace and happiness we all seek.
Growth is messy, says Marianne, but we should welcome the upheaval that change engenders because the situaions that bring out the worst in us are the only ones that can heal us. And as we heal the world around us - which at times can seem so dark and terrifying - is healed as well. Once we've trained our minds to percieve ourselves differently, our whole world view will be transformed as well.
I found this tape to be insightful and influential. Her ideas brought a sense of peace into my life.

Product Review: Doreen Virtue delivers powerful, comforting, and inspiring messages from the angelic realm. These messages help listeners to clarify their indecision, to feel better about themselves, and to understand the role of the angels in their lives. Topics addressed include: life's purpose, love life, children, self-employment, finances and abundance, health and healing, finding courage, peace of mind, and the spiritual path.

I found this to be a comprehensive collection of messages our angels want us to know. They are insightful and directive, some are loving and encouraging and some are very informative. I learned quite a bit and feel inspired to follow the angel's guidance.
