From the book: For wealthy Alison James, moving with her familly to her hometown presents more than a case of relocation jitters. Fifteen years ago, she fled town, eloping with her best friend's boyfriend. Now, blessed with three children, she wonders if that decision led her away from the life she was meant to lead. Catherine Ashley, broke, the mother of two and almost divorced, can't help but wonder the same thing. Although she's content with her children, she finds herself returning again and again to those few weeks fifteen years ago when she fell deeply in love, only to be betrayed by her most trusted friend. Now, living in the same town, Alison and Catherine are about to find out just how different their lives could still be. But this time around they are adults, and while their own happiness is at stake, so is their children's.
Wise and warmhearted, this book will make you laugh and cry.
I really enjoyed this book. It's a good read.

A good book for men and women, especially those who like mysteries--and fishing. Don't let the title of the book mislead you--the "Bitch" part is only the name of a creek. I really enjoyed this book.

This is a fascinating true-crime account of a shocking mass murder in Georgia. A group of men had broken out of prison when they happened upon a hard-working farm family. This is a chilling true story of one family's continuing nightmare in a legal system gone mad.

From the back cover--The FBI knows he's out there. A brilliant assassin who kills for profit--and pleasure. He carries an icepick and his trail of victims leads straight to the U.N. Agent John Becker is a man on the edge. His ability to think like a terrorist, and stalk like a killer, could block the assassin's next move, or it could push Becker over the edge.
