I enjoyed the book very much. I have read many of Douglas Preston's fiction books. This was the first non-fiction of his that I read. It was very interesting and I learned a lot about that area of Central America and the history of it. Good reading!

This is a great book. It was so neat the way the present and past was tied in together. And the ending was satisfying too - did not leave you hanging. It was a different kind of "read" which made it refreshing. 5 stars.

I enjoyed it very much. It was like a fairy tale, but more realistic - probably the way life really was back in the day.
