The Pain and the Possibility: Divorce & Separation among Catholics
Review Date: 2/14/2008

"essential reading for every divorced Catholic......a magnificent call to life and self-renewal in contrast to wallowing in guilt and self-pity. Paula Ripple's book offers convincing proof that a philosophy of personal growth arising from the pain of divorce is consistent with Catholic doctrine, and as such should prove enormously reassuring to millions of divorced Catholics. This is also a book I can highly recommend to all divorced people of whatever faith because of the universally wise and worthy comments about divorce and marriage in today's world that are found in its pages...."

This is a blatantly anti-Catholic book full of errors and downright lies about what the Church teaches. Very typical of those who have no clue what they're writing about. Yes, the bible is truth- and the bible came from the CATHOLIC church! Very sad that some people are so mislead about the church founded by Jesus which "the gates of hell will not prevail against." I doubt Jesus was wrong about that. Don't waste your time reading it.

Who Moved the Stone?
Who Moved the Stone?
Author: Frank Morison
Book Type: Paperback
  ?
Review Date: 2/14/2008

There was no description of this book on the back cover, but this was inside the front:

"The story Mr. Morison has told of the betrayal and the trial of Christ is facinating in its lucid, its almost incontrovertible, appeal to the reason. For me, he made these scenes live with a poignancy and vividness that I have found in no other account, not even in the various attempts that have been made to present the same facts in the guise of a novel." - J.D. Beressford

The cover on this book is worn but intact. I didn't see any highlighting or underlining.
