I really enjoyed this book. I thought the story well developed. I enjoyed all of the main characters and look forward to the next book in the series.

Wow, I can't believe this does not have more stars. I really enjoyed this book. I have read all the red princess mysteries and I love how the author weaves old Chinese culture and traditions in with a modern female detective. I hope there are more because I enjoy the story line of the life of the main character.

I think this is the best book of the series so far. I could not put it down and ended up spending a good part of the holiday weekend reading it. The characters really come together.

I picked this book based on the reviews and honestly I am amazed that anyone liked this book. I was so sick of hearing about how small her husband was and how he could only last a few seconds. Then he is having an afair with a crack addict? Of course the husband also gets some action from her pill popping room mate even though the husband says she makes him gag! I'm sorry but hearing sex described between a drug dealer in his crack house, where even the whore, looking for a fix, is disgusted by the surroundings, looking for a fix does nothing for me.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. The mixture of history, great love story, adventure...I wish I could read it for the first time again.
