Great plot and well written, starting with Carter Cox excavating La Brea Tar Pit and his wife Beth working for the Getty. A good book to take you on a pleasant vacation in your favorite arm chair. The best Robert Masello I've read yet.

Great early Joe Lansdale book, which introduces a lot of the folks you see in his later books. It has a fast and interesting plot and is written with the usual Lansdale whit, a great mystery!

A very well done book. Lots of good information and great pictures. This book has more than the average number of picture of the complete herb, not just dried pieces.
It is a keeper, I can't believe I was lucky enough o get a copy here.

Barnaby Skye takes a group to study the Far Tribes of Native American with exciting and disastrous results! Another great book about Skye's adventures. Fun to read, sort of like a little vacation into the land of Mountain Men.

This book takes place in Arizona in 1877. It is about a newspaper man, Sam FLint, who begins a paper in the town of Payday. I enjoyed this book a great deal, and have read all in the series for the same reason.
Great trip into the past.
