This book is full of secrets and surprises. There is the obvious deception of the main character. At first, I had to put this book down. I read a review about her role in this book, and I thought this was all. It started slow, and I did not want to read about a woman destroying a family. I am glad I kept reading. Once you get to the second section in the book, it picks up and becomes hard to put down. I loved the way this one ended.

This is one of the worst books I have ever read. The language is more preteen trying to be a teen than that of an actual teenager. There are inconsistencies in the book that appear as if one author started a chapter, and it was finished by the other without comparing. I can actually go through the movie Mean Girls and directly match each cast member to a character in this book. Horrible writing, inconsistent terms and details, shallow characters, and horrible writing describe this book well.

I loved this book! I loved that it followed the main character her entire life. I love that it touched on sensitive subjects enough to make the point but not too much. I love the way it ended. This is a must read book.
