Classic Pratchett! A thinly disguised take off on this world, with all of his surprising and thought provoking ideas and satire. Laughed out loud any number of times and really enjoyed myself thoroughly!

Really interesting book. It reminded me of a kabuki play. Well worth reading.

This is a WONDERFUL book about Ten Boom's experiences during WWII in a concentration camp. I read it over and over, but found I had two copies. Great personal growth book.

Several times she had me laughing so hard that I was crying. Then she'd get a quarter of an inch past my gross factor and I'd stop liking her. Sometimes both things happened at the same time. Well worth the time I spent reading her. Good for my health to laugh that hard.

Good suspense/romance. Pages are yellowed.

good mystery. I guessed who did it, then decided someone else did it, and was surprised by how they proved who did it and why. Can't ask for more than that.

Old copy with yellow pages, but in good condition other than that. Really exciting spy book. I enjoyed it very much.

Made me fall in love with New York, which I had always felt fearful of. How's that for neurotic? I still haven't been there! :->

Really great book. Scott's usual wonderful characterization, an interesting story with a slam-bang ending, and his wonderful exploration of relationships and what it means to commit to family.

This is the 7th in McCrumb's Elizabeth MacPherson series-and so far, it is my favorite. I just love Sharon McCrumb's books, and particularly this character! There is so much wit and life in McCrumb's books. She reminds me of a funnier Eudora Welty.

Haven't read it yet, so I am putting it up for trade, but I'm pretty sure it will be a great book. Follet is a very good suspense novelist.
