This may be the most unbelieveable book ever. Bored from the start and never got past how it just never made sense. Stilted conversations and a boring scenario.

Not a very interesting book. McCammon usually hold my interest thru the whole book. I had to push myself to finish it. With over 600 pages I think it was about 400 to long. Way to wordy, uses an entire page to tell you what could be said in one sentence.

Only made about 50 pages before I gave it up. I got tired of being beaten with rambling nonessential details.

I felt like I was reading two different books. The medical thriller part was incomplete and didn't seem to tie onto the rest of the book. The action part was a bit choppy. If you like blood and gore, it's not a bad read. Some likeable people, some not so much. I didn't care for the way it kind of limped to the predictable end.
