I liked this book. I thought it a little hard to follow the story line at times. The characters were numerous and jumped back and forth in time. But I liked the action and the mystery was good.

I loved this book! I am, admittedly, a Louis L'Amour fan and really like his books. This one was a "Sackett" series book, with a female heroine, filled with action and adventure. Predictable, as all of his books are...but I love them!

I didn't know what to expect when I started this book. He is a new author to me. I really enjoyed the action in it and the intriguing puzzles. It was a good read and I ordered more from this author.

I did finish it, but it was slow in parts. There was a lot more musing on philosophies of life and evil and good than I like. Would have liked more of a flowing story. Interesting book.
