This will be required reading in High School someday. Wow. This book was such an eye opener to my white, blonde girl self. If you only read one book this year, let it be this. It can change your life, like it did for me.

This book was a big eye opener for me. A must read if you have any questions about "you know who" really being there.

There were a few times when I had to turn the lights on listening to this one. The 1964 movie The Haunting actually follows pretty close to the book. The best part was you never "saw" what was haunting Hill House and I think that made it 100% more creepy.

Wow! This is one epic book. It is such a great mix of Fantasy and Historical Fiction. It does start off a little slow but picks up pretty fast. Clarke's footnotes alone could be made into a book of short stories. My only complaint is how long it is. I feel like she could have made this into 3 separate books. I listened to this as well as reading the hardcover. Simon Prebble does a great job narrating with different voices for all of the different characters found within this massive book. If you have the time, it's a must read/listen

This is my 1st Christopher Moore book and I loved it! I actually laughed out loud numerous times which I've never done with a fiction book (Memior yes, fiction no). This is a funny telling of Jesus's missing teenage years as well as into his 20's. A must read if you love humor that hits you out of nowhere!

One of the fastest trilogies I've read in awhile. The 3rd book's format is different then the other two which kinda threw me off at first. A great conclusion that ended with a set up for another if he really wanted to.

This was one of the most original and weirdest books I've read in a long time and I couldn't put it down! If you're looking for something different, this is your book. It's a tragic short of story with a happish ending. I'm shocked with everyone else that this is Edward Carey's first book. I can't wait to see what else he has done.

If you're looking for a great thriller author, Blake Crouch is your guy. This book was nonstop with a crazy twist at the end. I can see why it has been turned into a tv show. I can't wait to see what happens in the next two books.

Ringworld is the definition of SciFi. I also listened to this which was a major help instead of me trying to pronounce names. I can't wait to listen to the other 4.

A great follow up to the 1st book that answers a lot of questions that were left hanging. Another great twist at the end that you just knew was coming but didn't want it to. I'm curious to see how Crouch finishes this story up.
