This is one of my favorite books. Made me think a lot about life and what really matters. Love the whole concept of the book and could not put down. I love the fact that the main character watched her own funeral. Reminded me a lot of The lovely bones.

The beginning was a little hard to get into. Keeping track of all the different characters was challenging at times but the all link up and apply to each other which was really neat. I loved the paranormal aspect of the novel and how it jumped into different times. I didn't care for some of the history of the Indian tribes/land but overall, I enjoyed this book. Took me a little longer to get through but I wanted to see how it would end. The scientific verbiage sometimes wasn't for me either. I would recommend to other readers. I love Jodi Picoult this was my second novel I read by her and will read her other books too.
