First in a delightful series in which a new female newspaper owner in a small town in the state of Washington struggles to fit in.
The characters are delightfully nutty & there's always something going on.....mostly leading to a discovery of a murder by the owner of the newspaper, which doesn't please the local sheriff. This delightful series continues with most of the leading characters
in the successive books. You'll learn to love the characters & won't want to miss their growth over the series.Great reading!!

I really liked this book. It was "meatier" than most of the beach books I've read this summer. The characters came to life & I cared about them. It was a little daunting to have each chapter focusing on a different time period, but I was eventually able to follow it without frustration.

Just another typical Stone Barrington, where he hops into bed with the women. (Don't know why Woods thinks every story has to include Stone's sexual romps.) Just give us a good story...one that is hard to figure out. This one did have an interesting twist, but both he & Dino must be on those little blue pills!
