This book was a bit surprising in that the story line took the characters to emotional places I did not suspect they would go. Each woman had depths I did not expect, which caused me to shift my sympathies more evenly between them by the end of the story. Provocative read.

The Lady in Gold: The Extraordinary Tale of Gustave Klimt's Masterpiece, Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer

The book is very well written so that it reads almost like a novel while filled with facts. It was enjoyable although the facts at times outweighed the story line.

This book is a MUST read for those who seek a closer relationship to God. It is one person's idea/picture/view of God, but it stirs your belief and strengthens your attraction to the God of the bible. It also makes those who question God take a different perspective on life with God.

This book was enjoyable and interesting enough to keep me reading. Most enjoyable was the fact that the ending was a complete surprise to me! I never saw it coming. If there had been more character development with the main characters I would have liked the book even more. Some plot lines seemed implausible but all in all, the story held my interest.

I enjoyed the book and was surprised by the ending. This is set in England so the pace is somewhat slow and there are a few secondary story lines. I probably will read one of the books in this series.
