I loved this movie when it came out, & years later I read the book. The book made me love the story even more & helped to really understand Louis' character & why he's so tormented. Anne Rice is one of the best writers I have read. I can't get over how much though she puts into detail & description.

Sad; realistic. I have a better understanding of the conflict in Afghanistan.

This book is very brief, but very effective at relaying the horror of the Holocaust. It is unbelievable how cruel & heartless human beings can be.

An quick, entertaining read that offers humor and insight into African culture. It reads almost like a book of short stories, only they are mostly about the same person.

Anne Rice is one of only a handful of authors who's imagination has no limit. I love how she revisits the same characters throughout her other books. I enjoyed Interview witht the Vampire and the Vampire Lestat just slightly more than the Queen of the Damned, b/c I think the story of the twins was dragged on just a little longer than necessary. But still a wonderful book. I plan to read many more of her titles.

Anne Rice is a master of description. She has a way of telling a story that creates a perfect image in your mind. This is one of the best books I've read.
