This is my second Picoult book and I loved it. It took me a little bit to get into the book, but once I did, I could not put it down. I knew that it was going to get worse before it got better, and was nervous for the characters.

Picoult's books grab you and don't let go. The dynamics and relationships of all the various characters in her books enrich the story and give you perspectives you may not have thought about. She also gives you twists, turns and surprises. No matter what side of the fence you are on in a particular issue, with Picoult's books, you see them all and feel for them all. My heart truly went out to Faith and especially her mom, Mariah, who tried to juggle all that was thrown out them by the various constituencies that staked a claim to this story and little girl.

I highly recommend this heart wrenching story that was beautifully written - I laughed, I cried, and I enjoyed reading it!
