I have read all of Lawana Blackwell books and this one did not disappoint me. The main character Charlotte Ward attempts to return to the London stage after a 5year absent, it is not successful and she suffers a physical collapse. Her estranged daughter comes to her rescue and moves with her mother to a small Quiet English coastal village. The story is interesting as Rosalind and her mother make friends with the people of the small village and re-establish their relationship.
