Ugh. I don't like this author's style at all. If I have to read a paragraph 2-3 times to figure out what is happening, I'm just not going to enjoy the book. In this case, it didn't matter much because the family story didn't make sense, the people were just odd, and nothing jelled. In the end, I just didn't care enough about the people or the story and gave up about 3/4 of the way through.
