This book features Abe Glitsky, an important character in the long-running Dismas Hardy mystery series. Although this book was published after A CERTAIN JUSTICE (billed as "Abe Glitsky, Bk.1") the events described took place prior to those of the earlier book. A brief reference near the end of this book tries to tie everything together. But a few times while reading this book, I said "Wait a minute, that hasn't happened yet," or "No, that had to have happened several years ago." I wonder if the author got some of the plot details mixed up, or if I did? In any case, it's good writing, good story-telling, and an intriguing and Abe's a gradually-endearing lead character.
