This is actually 2 books in one---the first is Night Shift. Cilla O'Roarke is a nighttime radio dj, cool, sexy, confident, and beloved by her audience. One person out there takes his admiration too far and begins to contact her, more and more frequently until it turns into a deadly obsession. Detective Boyd Fletcher is assigned to Cilla's case, his job is to protect her, but then the sparks begin to fly.
Night Shadow is basically a sequel to Night Shift, but this time the heroine is Cilla's younger sister Deborah. This story takes place a few years after Night Shift left off, and Deborah is now an assistant district attorney on a mission to rid her city of crime. Nemesis has the same mission, only he is not on the same side of the law. One night Nemesis saves Deborah from a sudden attack, and afterwards he finds he can't get the stubborn, beautiful attorney out of his head.
