A wonderful wonderful book. Theres little wonder why it so quickly became a hit!
It gives a view into Afghanistan when the Russians invaded that sadly people don't seem to know much about, which is mildly surprising considering current events there.
Its very human and raw.
The movie doesn't give it justice and skips some major plotpoints in the end half of the novel.
