I find myself more often than not disappointed with anthologies, but this book was a definite winner.

I got it strictly for the Lucy Monroe story that follows on the heels of "Close Quarters", which was the ending of "The Goddard Project" series and the beginning of the new "Atrati" series.

"Who's Been Sleeping in My Brother's Bed?" brings together baby sister Danusia Chernichenko from the Goddard series and Maxwell Baker from Atrati. After Danusia's home is broken into, she goes to her brother's to stay while he's out of town and finds that one of his team members is already staying there. As things progress and they realize the break-in was not random, but targeted at her, he takes on bodyguard duties to keep her safe. This was a good transition story between the two series. I can't wait for the next Atrati book to come out (September 2011).

"Hot Mess" by Jamie Denton is about a Jill-of-all-trades trying to act as babysitter/bodyguard for an FBI agent she believes is an accountant and the federal prosecution's star witness in a major court case. This book was much lighter than another book I had previously read by Ms. Denton and I enjoyed it very much.

"Acapulco Heat" by Elisabeth Naughton is the story of a model who gets targeted by a drug cartel while on a shoot in Acapulco and has to flee a nightclub with her bodyguard after the male model she was dancing with gets gunned down in front of her. Ms. Naughton was a new author for me and she did not disappoint.

Overall, I highly recommend this book and I would be very tempted to keep it... had I not checked it out of the library. :(
