From the back cover:
THE PICTURE OF GUILT...
Courtroom artist Brady Flynn hadn't meant to get mixed up with Judge Michael Snow, or with the danger shadowing his life. Then a speeding car nearly ran them both down, and Brady's sketch of the driver plunged her into a maelstrom of terror, even while it brought her closer to this enigmatic but fascinating man.
Michael wasn't as cold and aloof as he'd always seemed, and Brady's warmth and enthusiasm for living were just what he needed to draw him out. But their relationship became a race against time. Could they break free of the darkness, or would the killer find them first, cutting short their chance for love?
While this isn't the best I've read by Creighton, it is worth the read. Like others written in eighty's, there's less explicit sex and more angst between the characters.
