I had a hard time with this one. The initial scene was worthy of Hiassen, Dorsey, etc. but the writing was heavy handed and awkward. I flipped ahead a few pages to see if it got better and it only got worse. Paucity of dialogue didn't help. Trying way too hard to be cute, doesn't have the brazen flair needed in this genre. Well, brazen yes, flair no. Plodding.
