Another great read from Linda Hall. The main character, Ally, dealt with some deep wounds in her life that really caused her to believe that God had turned His back on her, as well as being the catalyst to the mystery/suspense. She expressed real emotions and confusions and found her way to God without the overly sentimental platitudes that occur in so many LI books. Characters that grapple with deep questions with realistic thoughts and actions are one of the reasons I like Linda Hall's books. Oh, and the mystery is great too. Not predictable.
