frankly, i find it hard to believe this was written by a 17 year old girl, but it is really a beautiful account of a young woman exploring her sexuality and exploring her self through her sexuality. The honesty, self-awareness, and conclusions she comes to are touching. And the language is beautiful as well - perhaps a combination of well-written and translated from the flowery Italian.
