This book was definitely a tearjerker - I probably cried from the second chapter to the very end, whereupon I used an entire box of tissues. So, if you need a good cry - this book is it.

I was, however, disappointed a bit that the characters didn't do anything more with the time traveling part. No real experiments to see if the future could be changed, both characters were so paranoid about not changing the future. Which I thought was rather silly. If I could time travel, I'd have done A LOT more with it than this guy did.

Finally, I couldn't really relate too much to the female character. For one thing, I'd run from such a relationship like the plague, true love or not (I'm too realistic, I suppose). For another, some scenes were pretty creepy in terms of her husband - especially one of the sex scenes. In general, aside from the whole time travel bit, he didn't seem like good partner material to me.

All in all, though, if I ignored the above, I did enjoy the book.
