Emma Rhodes is beautiful, intelligent, and wealthy and she isn't humble about it either. Emma decided the best way to use her assets would be as a private detective for the rich and titled. In her debut, she is housesitting in Brussels when she foils the kidnap attempt on a child of the royal family by a group of Islamic terrorists. This is Emma's world, so of course they'll instantly invite her into their lives and tell her their problems. Seems a royal husband has gone into hiding, fearing for his life and his family's, and his wife is very upset. Emma thinks finding this guy is going to be an easy assignment until the terrorists go after her. Everyone in this book including the villains is either good looking, seriously smart, rich, or titled and sometimes all of them. This is a fun beach or airplane book; read it with tongue firmly planted in cheek. The situations are highly improbable and the ending even more so, but it's a bit of fun. I believe there are 4 more in the series.
