This book has a certain air of nostalgia about it and I enjoyed the trip down memory lane. There were lots of facts I wasn't aware of including how active Bacall was on the stage. After Humphrey Bogart's death, I really lost track of what was going on in Bacall's life. This caught me up with the events of Bacall's later life. I recall her saying that the reason she divorced Jason Robards was because of his alcoholism and this book says the same. I googled Bacall's children to find out what happened to them.
