I love this series. However, over the last three books, Ms Day has fizzled out. The characters are flat; although the beginning is interesting and full of promise, it falls flat. The plot is slow moving and Daniel and his Serai lack the sparkle and sizzle of the first books. I found myself skipping just to finish. Hopefully Alaric and Quinn will bring this series back to life.
