If you are looking for reason to start or continue in Tai Chi, then this is the reference book for you. I say reference, as there is so much material in this book not all will want to read it through. And, in a number of places, it is not an easy read.
I do Tai Chi and it is nice to learn from this book that any time I spend doing so is a large plus for my health and well-being.
