I skipped through most of this book - it was just that hard to read. Alix, the female lead, is simply not a likeable person. She is shallow, self centered, insensitive and neurotic - besides being the kind of person who just OVERTHINKS everything. I tried, really I did; I read the first 120 pages word for word. But after that I started skipping pages, then whole chapters. This is not a book I would recommend.
