I really wanted to like this book. I loved the movie and book Pride and Predjudice, but I could not finish this book. I barely made it though the description of the wedding night before I gave up. It was just too ridiculous for me....maybe I'm too cynical. The Darcy and Elizabeth in this book bear no resemblance to the characters from the movies or the book. I'm sure someone could appreciate this book, it just wasn't for me!
