Book Review of Avalon: The Return of King Arthur (Pendragon Cycle, Bk 6)

Avalon: The Return of King Arthur (Pendragon Cycle, Bk 6)
reviewed on

Set in a near-future Britain, the suicide of the current Monarch has all but guaranteed the British Republicans the chance to abolish the Crown and have a Presidential Republic. James Arthur Stewart is led by a mysterious counselor, Myrddin Embries, or Merlin, of his true identity as the reborn King Arthur and seeks to claim his rightful throne. Highly recommended for its Christian influences, Lawhead's latest novel should appeal to fans of Arthurian fantasy with its exploration of Arthurs return in a modern world.
