I think this is a fantastic story with a great ending, but the writing was bad. I think V.C. Andrews shoulda just told the story to a writer and have them put it in words. Star, who is supposed to ba a black girl from the ghetto talks with the same vocabulary as the rich girl from Beverly Hills. Just not very realistic to me.
